Projectopia
Zen and the art of crushing huge projects
This system can teach you how to turn hazy, nebulous, huge projects into small, focused pieces, and then apply real estimates, and actually crush it – get to the glorious end! Everyone has big projects. Everyone.
Yours might be a house remodel, or that side-hustle business, or managing a team of engineers to build that new thing, or wedding or event planning, or pivoting your business, or launching a new marketing campaign, or taking on more consulting clients, or writing that book (been there!), or…fill in the blank. If it’s big and hard to put an exact end date on it then Projectopia will help you.
There are some simple process steps that most people are able to apply right away. Sometimes even on their own – just take my plan and use it. The real breakthrough comes when you apply the complete system, follow through, and stick with it. Anyone can write a plan down on paper, but delivering on that plan is what separates the successful from the wishful thinkers.
Not sure about all this? I don’t blame you. And I won’t keep anything from you either. Hop over to the blog and read some of the posts there to see what you think. You’ll find that I don’t tease or hide information. If I think it will help you I give it to you. You can also scroll down to see free tools I’ve created to get you started with Projectopia.
Sign up for the occasional emails I send, and you’ll see there’s value in every one. Or else simply unsubscribe.
I’m also creating a community of people just like you, called Team Projectopia. Or “TP” for short. Yes, because it’s funny! You can learn from me *and* one another, resource each other when you’re stuck in project hell, encourage one another, and even network for business. I am still building the platform, but you can register here to let me know you’re interested.
TP (Team Projectopia) has members with titles like Product Manager, Founder, Engineering Manager, Business Owner, Purchaser, Marketer, User Experience Designer, Entrepreneur, Side Hustler, Project Manager, and beyond.
Looking for next level growth? I also offer private sessions, onsite training, and my small group intensive. Let me know what you need here, and I’ll be in touch.
Try This Tool With Projectopia
I use a lot of different software applications on a daily basis. The newest one I’ve discovered is called Airtable. It’s like Excel on crack, or Google Sheets already setup to work as a database. Frankly, it’s sort of hard to explain. So just try it.
I’ve created an Airtable “base” (what they call a project) and shared it below. It has the original layout I used to build, launch, and promote my online webinar training for Projectopia, and I used Projectopia to come up with what went inside of it. How’s that for ‘inception’? You can use it as a starting point for your own webinar series, or edit it to fit whatever big project you’re working on right now. My gift to you.
